This video is of the auto detailing session that was held on April 3rd. It is the highlights of the session and hopefully there will be another one for those that were not able to make this one. If you want more information please contact Steve Pasztor at Showroom FX.

Putting together part 2 right now. DI water does make a big difference and I know that I will be using it from now on.

The deionizer was amazing. Our water is almost hard enough to drive on, so this is another thing on my wish list. Not to mention Steve, he's excellent at what he does, and does a good Tech Session. And you can tell that Mike stepped up and asked good questions, I was too busy thinking of all the imperfections in the paint. Thanks for putting together the videos David, these are ones I'll save away for future reference.

Great job on the videos. I think a motion is in order to create a position of "Official Videographer" and to appoint David to that position I'm glad Steve was generous enough with his time and knowledge to share that with our club members and to allow for the video to be taken for those of us that couldn't be there.

I second the motion and agree about Showroom FX. Being ever picky though, how come we heard nothing about detaling/cleaning the INTERIOR of your car? Is that going to be a future tech session?

Well Mike, you were the one asking all the questions and you never asked about the interior. You had him too busy to get to that .

It would be my pleasure to create videos for the tech sessions. Also I have a DVD made of this one that combines all three parts that I will be offering as a raffle prize at this months meeting.

Great videos and editing work David.
Anyone is free to take photos and/or shoot video at our Club events if they have the desire and the equipment, so I dunno about making it an official position. I do think we should be thankful that Dave has stepped up and is using his talents to add to the experience.
I like the DVD idea. What about putting together a compilation of all Club event videos for distribution at the Christmas Party at year's end? As an additional benefit to Club membership. Just an idea.

Yeah was mostly kidding on the official position, obviously everyone is free to participate on that front. Mike does a great job on the still photos, and I try to fill in the gaps with my lil camera.
The compilation DVD would be cool.

I finally broke down and bought a de-ionizer unit from Showroom FX. Tried it out tonight washing the Z after work. . . . . . WOW! It really works super! I used just one 24 x 36 microfiber towel to wipe the car dry, it only needed one swipe on each surface to dry, and I was done in half the time it would otherwise take to dry the car before. What's more, there are no water spots! A super product --- at a cost though, but really nice to use to wash your car.
