Does anyone know a good repair shop for a 1981 280ZX turbo near Cedar Hill?  My car runs rough and can't find a reason.

Hi Dan,

If you could share a more detailed description there may be someone on here that could offer more insight or better send you in the right direction.

Information about the issue such as:
rough idle when cold but once warm it is fine
seems to change with ambient temperature
rough on regular but not premium gas
RPMs fluctuate between 600-900, etc

History of your car:
Mileage
Modifications
Maintenance (last oil change, spark plugs, wires, timing belt, etc)

Also anything you have done in trying to track down the issue and what if any impact/insight occurred.

Just got the car.  Looks like new plugs, injectors, plug wires  etc.  Hard to start when cold, back fires when given gas when cold, runs better when warmed up, although still doesn't idle smooth.  Checked all vacumn lines I could find, replaced fuel filter, tightened up some hoses, replaced some, hesitates when given gas.  Seems to run better at higher speed and driving.  I have the service manuel for it.  Would appreciate any help or advice.  Thanks

I am not familiar with the 280s, but there is Alamo in Arlington which works on z32s, not sure if they know anything about the 280s. 

I would double check your plugs and injectors?
