    Based on last year:

We will meet at a common location just like for a Texas Tour and the passes will be distributed there.

The day will be broken up into time slots (I believe they were 1 or 2 hours) in which 2-3 people are expected to stay at the corral to watch the cars, keep people from coming in through the fence (not everyone understands why the cars are behind a fence) and to talk to them about the cars.

Any time besides your time slot, you are welcome to run around the fair or hang out at the corral.

We need to be in the corral by 9am and can't leave till 6pm (unless like last year there is a football game conflict and we have to get in earlier, but I think it was said that isn't the case this year).  So the meeting time I would guess will be 7:30am with departure at 8am.

I believe we are no longer meeting at Montfort because of construction so not sure location of meeting place.

A lot of people hang out in the corral for a good portion of time, so if you have them, bring a cooler with some drinks and a chair.  If we have the middle corral again, there are picnic tables also and some potential shade from trees but a camping/lawn chair will be more comfortable.

On the shade, I know there was a request to bring some popup cover tents.  I believe Ed said he can bring one, not sure situation on the others.  I may have some room, will find out Monday.

I just spent last Sunday running all around the state fair when I went with my Jeep club so I plan on spending a good amount of time at the corral and will have a big old cooler with me.

Do we have an official meeting location and time?  Car Corral is before the next meeting, so we have to coordinate this online.

I've been getting inquiries from interested Z owners about this, and I don't know what to tell them about the meeting location and time.  Right now, no one seems to know when or where we are meeting.

Meeting spot is being worked on, we will post it here as soon as it is known so make sure to check back here.

Also, I'm going to have a decent sized cooler with me that has a dry section to keep food cold.  I was thinking of hitting up Subway in the morning (there is a 24/7 one by me) and grabbing some $5 footlongs (all are $5 this month).

I'm thinking I can fit an additional 4-5 subs in that section of the cooler if anyone wants to put in a request, first come first served.

Send me a PM or Email or reply to this thread so we don't clutter up this main thread with it.

Per Katy the decision is to go with what we know: we will be meeting at the Montfort & 635 McDonalds at precisely 08:00 and leaving a few moments later. We have to be in Fair Park by 09:00. We will take a slightly circuitous route over to Hillcrest and catch 635 there to avoid the construction.

I'm in for one car.  See you at McDonalds.

LBJ will be reduced to two lanes each way all weekend.  Allow plenty of time to get to McDonalds if using this road.
