1981 280ZX Turbo

Our father recently passed away and we are selling his 1981 Datsun 280 ZX Turbo. He was the sole owner, purchased it new and took immaculate care of it over the years. It won ‘Best in Show’ at the 2004 Cowtown Z Club competition (trophy included with the car along with absolutely all service records).

Black with gold trim, gold wheels, ’T’ tops, tan leather interior and Michelin nitrogen filled tires that are in good shape. Lightly driven over its 39 years, it has 108,745 original miles (average 2,781 per year) and has been parked in storage in Austin, Texas for the past 4+ years but being started every few weeks. The engine purrs like a tiger. Overall the car is in very good condition but like all ‘vintage’ cars there are some things that should be replaced / need work; 1) stereo, 2) air conditioner, 3) and a slow brake fluid leak.

This car should belong to someone who will continue appreciate it as much as its original owner. Priced to sell, serious inquiries only. Location: Austin, Texas

1984 300ZX $1,500

I have a great “project” car for somebody out there.

Long story short, my wife had a “large” girlfriend who couldn’t get out of the passenger seat, so I had to rescue her 12 years ago... and the next day I bought her a Ford Escape... I kept the Z thinking I’d turn it into a race day toy... so much for that fantasy.

So it’s all there, even the tools under the floor mat. Both rear tires are flat.

It has 161k, rust on body at A pillar, rust along chrome top windshield and it needs a windshield from a fallen branch. I have not tried to start it / don’t want to risk bending/breaking internals or anything. It ran like a top when it did, no smoking or leaking.

1985 300ZX, 5-Speed Coupe $6,000 OBO
This is a drivable project. Lots done already but still needs a little tlc. Have all parts but interior is partially out, was sealing and treating all the normal water pooling areas and installing sound barrier. New carpet kit. Side trim peeled off. Little bit of rust bubbling around windshield. Other than that the car is pretty straight. Car is located in Flower Mound.
My phone number is 214-491-8826. $6000 obo.

1989 300ZX $5,000 OBO

Looking for a new, loving home for my Red Rocket (aka Magic Time Machine). It lived it's life in Dallas, although is currently located in Cape Cod where it's been under cover for about 18 months. Mileage is 208,661 and everything is original to the car, including the owner.

Regular maintenance completed throughout the life of the car, as well as several thousand dollars worth of maintenance type work done on the engine and AC in the last several years. Black fabric interior is in good condition -- no rips or tears, and just some wear on the steering wheel and on the console for the sound system.

After market window tint was applied, which is bubbling in some places. Biggest issue is hail damage (and some paint chips) on the hood, and there are a few dents elsewhere from the 2012 storm in Dallas that we just never got fixed -- 2 other cars and roof took precedence.

There are other things that would need to be fixed which I can detail, but it is definitely a drivable project. We put a new battery in it within the past week or so, and after 18 months, she started up right away. Lots of photos and a video of the cold start available. Asking $5,000 or best offer.
